BLOG TRAFFIC: THE LINE STARTS OVER THERE

Blog traffic is easy, so expect instant results. Start a blog, write a post, and stand back. The clouds part, the rain stops. You stand in the warming sunshine, not the blazing warm that melts asphalt in parking lot, but the cuddly warm of wearing strap t-shirts and cargo shorts. Let’s warm it up.

ADRENALINE DUMP? EMT SAYS, “IT’S A REAL THING”

I’ve never heard of an adrenaline dump in this context: After an emergency situation you feel a need GO. An urgent need, but it’s during an emergency. If you’re wondering, ‘But Blogger D, what’s the big emergency?’ I’ll paint the picture:

OLD LESSON PLAN FOR NEW TIMES

An old lesson plan? From Aristotle? Who needs one with new lessons every day? More like who doesn’t? Sometimes it takes a while for things to sink in.

COMMITMENT TIME, BUT TO WHAT

Commitment time is like a broken clock being right twice a day. The difference is one. Make your promise when you get up, not when you go to bed. You’ve got enough going on to keep you awake.

FOR OLDER PEOPLE: WHAT’S IT LIKE?

Who doesn’t like a question directed to ‘older people?’ This was the question from twitter: I wonder what it’s like for the older people now, who were born in the previous millennium. How can people born in 1999 be old? Easy.

WORTH REMEMBERING? IT STARTS WITH EVERYTHING THEN A LITTLE LESS

It’s worth remembering the important things in your life. Did I ever know about the lines in a red cup? Will it matter in the future? I like the idea of the lines meaning something, but I just want a full pour of whatever’s supposed to be in there.

BOOMER DREAM: I WISH I KNEW WHAT I KNOW NOW WHEN I WAS YOUNGER

A boomer dream sung by Rod? Poor old grand-dadI laughed at all his wordsI thought he was a bitter manHe spoke of women’s waysThey’ll trap you, then they use youAnd before you even knowFor love is blind and you’re far too kindDon’t ever let it show I wish that I knew what I know nowWhen […]

WRITING TIME QUESTION: WHAT’S THE POINT?

Writing time is running out? Now you tell me. But I don’t agree, or believe it. My writing time will run out one day, but that doesn’t  let anyone else off the hook. Unless you’re dead. Then maybe.
