THE CUVEE PROM PLAN: TUXEDO REQURIED

The Cuvee prom plan works when the star align:
A birthday? An anniversary? A retirement?
Combine all three and it’s time to break out the tuxedo?
Yes, it’s time.

Special dress shirt with cufflinks and studs missing?
Keep looking.
Black shirt formal wear with bone bolo? Noooo.

I went to one prom in high school. That was probably enough with my fashion sense.
But why not recreate those magical moments when big dates converge, like a wedding anniversary, birthday, and work milestone?
Back then it was a drink of mixed booze stolen from the parent’s liquor cabinet.
This time it’s from the top shelve.

What to do when everything else lines up?
Get yourself lined up.

All Together For Cuvee Prom Plan

We traveled over hill and dale to Carlton, Oregon and Cuvee after an earlier scouting run.
Every time is better than the last.

When visiting Oregon, it’s considered rude not to indulge in some delicious seafood. Cuvee Restaurant offers a poisson du jour based on whatever fresh catch comes in that morning.
It is cooked to Gilbert’s exact specifications.
There’s also the Coquilles St. Jacques—scallops and shrimp cooked in a leek, carrot béchamel sauce topped with melted Gruyère cheese.
Cuvee Restaurant’s menu showcases traditional French cuisine prepared with local Pacific Northwestern ingredients, so the offerings may change depending on when you visit.
However, the commitment to exceptional flavors remains constant.
One can’t go wrong dining at Cuvee Restaurant for cuisine with French influences steeped in an elegant setting.
A group of twenty came in, occupied half of the restaurant, and we were off.
With practiced precision, the kind you see on a team of veteran staff, we fell into the pace of France in Oregon.
Three hours later we were the last out the door before the traditional cleaning crew took over.

PS:

What’s a good answer to, “How to make a special day more memorable?”

PSS:

Put on a tux, a suit, the nicest stuff in the closet, and do some yard work, walk the dog around the block, then saddle up for a trip to Carlton and Covee.
Be sure and try a few options before settling on a final outfit.
Me: How does this look.
Wife:
Me: How about this?
Wife:

With this sort of exchange, keep searching for the right combination, because once you get to Cuvee it’s all the right combination course after course.
Try not to spill on yourself.
