WWII documentaries and death usually go hand in hand. That’s what you get watching video about the deadliest war in human history. But the bigger story is for those who lived to tell. Or a blogging veteran, U.S. Army, ’74-’76.

PRIORITY LIST: WHERE TO START?

Priority list? Maybe you call it something else. What if it’s a list someone makes for you? From wife: Honey Do. At work: To Do. Your friends: How do you do? But this is your list. What happens if urgency doesn’t feel like a priority?

MORE FOOD? IT’S NOT A QUESTION

There’s more food on the table. Have another plate. If it’s Super Bowl Sunday you’ll ruin your team’s chances if you don’t gorge yourself. The barbecued little sausages won’t eat themselves. Grab a toothpick. Homemade Buffalo wings? Right there.

BOOMER BAR SETS HIGH STANDARDS

Who set the baby boomer bar for making a better world for our children? Our parents, our grandparents, our teachers, and coaches? If that’s your guess, it’s a good one. But who set it so high; why did they do that to us?

DEATH WISH? IT’S JUST A STAGE

Death wish yourself into being a better person? “If I can’t be who I think I am I’d rather die.” Is that a wish, or a condition? I don’t know, but what I do know is ‘the end’ is the end. Most of the time.

LAST CALL? NOT FOR YOU

Last call for alcohol? Nope, not that one. If you don’t hear from yourself on a regular basis, check in. If it’s busy, make a recall.

WRITE POORLY FIRST, THEN WHAT?

Write poorly on purpose? That’s the goal. Sounds foolish, but not if you do it with enthusiasm. Do it long enough and something happens. Let’s ask an expert what happens:

GET BETTER, GET BITTER, OR . . .?
