HATEFUL MAN: WHEN IT HAPPENS TO SOMEONE YOU KNOW

Does a nice man turn into a hateful man overnight? Or does it take time. Older men feel a certain pressure, a weight building. When it all goes wrong, when negative experiences stack up and fall over, hate splatters everything around them. Maybe you know a hateful man? Used to know a hateful man?

FRIGHTENED MAN: WHAT SCARES THEM THE MOST

One thing about frightened man is they make lots of noise. They’re loud, yet never ask, “Can you hear me?” Instead, they keep the volume turned to eleven. How can you tell, besides the noise, if a frightened man is also nutty as hell?

TWO HANDS: WISH IN ONE, TRUMP IN THE OTHER

The old saying about hope starts with two hands, one for wishes. While this is an opinion blog, my opinions, and not a political blog, I share the unusual and exceptional. Like now:

DRINK BEER OUTSIDE? FOLLOWING ORDERS FROM 10 BARREL

If drink beer outside sounds like an order to follow, then you’re a true Oregonian. Drink beer outside at the coast? Why, of course. What else would you want to do? Go fishing? Naw.

WESTERN EDGE OF NORTH AMERICAN COVID DREAM

The Pacific Ocean at sundown with clouds catching the last dream of an Oregon day. If you still have dreams, do you share them? Do you know how to share a dream? Me neither, but I still try and work it out. See if this is helpful:

SUBURBAN LIFESTYLE DREAM VS REALITY IN OREGON

I heard a reference to suburban lifestyle dreams from someone who was raised in urban apartments. There’s nothing wrong with city living, except when a city slicker claims to know about life in the suburbs. In my time, I’ve lived small town, urban, and suburban, though I’m not a fan of the suburban lifestyle tag.
