I see trees of green,
red roses too.
I see them bloom,
for me and you.
And I think to myself,
what a wonderful world.

This was the opening song for an unforgettable Saturday.

You can live in a city, around a city, and never see the inside of places that make you stand back in awe. Even empty,the Adrianna Hill Grand Ballroom is lifetime awe inspiring.

I see skies of blue,
And clouds of white.
The bright blessed day,
The dark sacred night.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

When events keep coming faster and faster it’s important to take a moment and ask, “Is this the right thing?”

The colors of the rainbow,
So pretty in the sky.
Are also on the faces,
Of people going by,
I see friends shaking hands.
Saying, “How do you do?”
They’re really saying,
“I love you”.

The right time, right place, right man, right woman. Yes, it’s the right thing to do.

I hear babies cry,
I watch them grow,
They’ll learn much more,
Than I’ll ever know.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

Lifetime friends and a best man brother combine to keep the groom in line.

How many wait for the best mate,

instead of hanging onto the love of your life?

Then move into the Portland world outside

as husband and wife.

Two words: I and DO. Or YES.

Years of hope, months of planning, weeks of nerves, and then the longest day.

The Portland world welcomes newly weds, but why didn’t they dress up?
