HOMEWARD BOUND FOR NORTH BEND TOWN

Homeward bound will always be North Bend, Oregon. For me, maybe not you. What feels like a nice memory is more than that. Let’s go with a living testament to the hardworking people who still call it home. Hard working?

DANGEROUS PLACES #1: MATERNITY WARD

Dangerous places are pretty obvious. Who doesn’t have a list of them. Here in Oregon, land of the great outdoors, we have plenty of danger. FOUR FATHERS’ DAY FOR THE CYCLE

Four fathers in one family sounds like a lot? No, it’s just enough. This is the first time it’s happened and I can tell you it feels like a different Father’s Day.

LEARNING HOW THINGS WORK? FIRST LEARN WORDS

Learning how to do anything takes a special effort when you already know everything. Then you find out what you’ve learned is wrong and your time and energy feels wasted? After that it’s pointing fingers, assigning blame. Or, there’s another way to justify the time and energy to learn how things work. Call it a […]

LIFE GOALS: BOOMERS FROM 58 TO 68

My life goals are simple. Like Marcus Aurelius, I believe the object of life is very clear: Stay off the lunatic fringe. And?
