Who doesn’t like a question directed to ‘older people?’ This was the question from twitter: I wonder what it’s like for the older people now, who were born in the previous millennium. How can people born in 1999 be old? Easy.

WRITING TIME QUESTION: WHAT’S THE POINT?

Writing time is running out? Now you tell me. But I don’t agree, or believe it. My writing time will run out one day, but that doesn’t  let anyone else off the hook. Unless you’re dead. Then maybe.

SPORTS DADS SAY, “PLAY MY KID IF YOU’RE SMART”

Sports dads come in every flavor between sweet and sour. They come with vast experience, and none. What they know for sure is their kid is better than your kid and should play more than he does. With that attitude, what can go wrong?

Comfort blog? You don’t know it, but you need one. Fortunately I write one. But why is it comforting? What’s more comforting than Jeff Bridges explaining the origins of life? By his measure, I’m a nine year old.

TOO OLD FOR A NEW STORY?

Too old to start over? The big hurdles begin with the definition of ‘start’ and ‘over.’ To start, just to start, is a fight against inertia to move forward on a project. There’s that page for a new story. The letters won’t get on there by themselves.

PRIORITY LIST: WHERE TO START?

Priority list? Maybe you call it something else. What if it’s a list someone makes for you? From wife: Honey Do. At work: To Do. Your friends: How do you do? But this is your list. What happens if urgency doesn’t feel like a priority?
