My best neighbor of all time was also a king-pin. He owned a construction company and hired convicts. The idea was getting people out of prison and onto a better life. To get started, and early release, they needed a job and place to live.

Knowing sports, having a favorite sport, is no longer limited to gambling addicts. You can even have a favorite player without feeling like a loser. So why is it so difficult to root for LeBron James? I’ll start:

Kid promises are what expecting parents make, what new parents make. Then baby shows up and everyone makes new promises. If you are a parent, what kind of promises did you make to yourself. Were they the same ones you told your parenting partner?
