FUTURE RECREATION: TRAINING STARTS TODAY

Future recreation is always in question.
What will change?
Today we have climbing walls, but how often will anyone use those skills in real life?
Better to hone your fence climbing skills, not rock climbing.
On this training course, once you get over the fence you’ve got king of the hill.
Let’s be realistic, it’s a big hill to climb, but with the proper motivation you can do it.

Another old school recreation was log rolling, but that’s so yesterday.
Today’s skill set is a timed sprint across railroad ties.
It’s so much more practical.

First, over the fence, up the hill, then sprint across the timbers for the win.
That’s the technical side of future recreation.
It won’t be long before Nike and Under Armor roll out sport specific gear for a new day.

Water Sports For The Wet Side

These are the Great Falls of the Salt River.
Take your kayak out for a run at these and improve who you are.
White water is dangerous and this is no exception.
Danger is at every level.
Once you navigate the Great Falls it’s an all out push for the corner.
Start on the inside and drift out to avoid going over the high side wipeout.
World class kayakers know the risk of getting thrown off course.

For fast finishers the homestretch is a rush.

Bow up, paddles down, and go, go go.
Proper training makes all the difference.
Imagine the rooster tails on this run.

Everyone Wins In Future Recreation

The beauty of this modern system is that it produces high levels of fitness.
Because of the variety, everyone can enjoy the experience.
From a paved surface, to dirt, to water, there’s something for everyone.
Who would win in a three man race?
If you master the fence climb, the king of the hill, and the timber sprint, you win.
Instead of a gimmick, a hypodermic shot, or a starvation diet, modern recreation will produce a new you.
Look around you and ask yourself, ‘Where are my training opportunities?’
Look hard and you’ll find them.
Start soon to qualify for future Olympics.
Go ahead and be somebody.
And give yourself a pat on the back for finishing a blog post.
