Who is making plans for the future?

Now that the covid pandemic is over, now that there’s world peace, and you’ve reached your life goals, the future looks bright?

Not so fast, my hopefuls.

What’s it mean that the mask mandates have been dropped?

It means the same as it did when less than qualified medical opinions from former president Trump called it a hoax, that it would disappear magically.

Magical disappearance is something some con men count on when the heat comes down.

“This subpoena will magically disappear.”

“My poor choices will magically disappear.”

“The consequences for my poor choices will magically disappear.”

Do you believe in magic?

Let’s agree that there’s a difference between magical thinking and manipulative bullshit, and it’s a big difference.

Or should be.

Avoid Future Plans With A Bitter Loser

A man who hates himself because he’s failed to live up to the standards set before him in his youth works hard to hide from himself.

What to do? Simple. Attach yourself to someone with greater hate and vileness.

Trump has been a God-send to people with conflicted hate in their hearts, but love for Jesus.

They disappointed their daddy, who had disappointed their own daddy even worse. They disappointed their momma, who has hidden their own disappointment for spawning a hate-twin of their husband they’re not too crazy about.

Here comes Trump with his convincing schtick that it’s not their fault for feeling so bad. To feel better, according to him, elect him president because he’s the only person who can fix everything by himself.

Got a bad marriage? Let your wife spend time with Trump to make you look better.

Got a bad life? Spend some time with reputable people who lost their dignity after kissing up to Trump.

Practice holding your breath since the stink coming off these people is long lasting, maybe life long lasting.

Covid Isn’t Going Anywhere Either

Covid is magically sticking around.

It started as a killer, kept going, and hasn’t stopped.

With as much bitching and complaining about wearing a mask from people who ought to know better, some awareness has been lost.

Imagine talking down safety and masks to fiberglass insulation installers.

Hey you in asbestos abatement, don’t be a pussy in a mask.

Dear doctor, please don’t wear a mask during my transplant surgery. You know it doesn’t work or do one damn thing except make you feel superior.

Wear a mask, don’t wear a mask, and accept what comes afterward. Will it be covid? If so, will you check into the hospital?

Pound Your Chest In A Manly Way

If you feel like the king of the world and you deserve whatever it is you want at any particular moment, congratulations.

That’s right, congratulations for living in hole, for not getting out, for not taking note of what’s around you.

You didn’t go to college but you have a favorite team in March Madness?

Okay.

You didn’t play football at any level, but you’re an NFL expert?

Cool.

Let’s stick with sports and not expand into your geo-political expertise, Kissinger.

When an under educated blowhard explains the importance of listening to them explain Ukrainian history based on Fox News disinformation from propaganda spewing pimps in bowties and women dressed up to answer Roger Ailes big questions: “Honey, how bad do you want this job? How loyal are you willing to be? How low can you go? I need proof.”

What happens when a man says he loves his ACA, but hates Obamacare; who loves Trump, but hates the ‘government’; and who is under investigation for his actions on Jan 6; what happens when the same words that come out of Fox News mouths comes out of his?

If you, my brother, are letting those words out of your mouth, take a moment to consider what has been in the Fox News mouths first.

Now it’s in yours, and you’re asking for more?

I’m no expert here, but that doesn’t sound like your happy ending.
