WHEN SOFT MEN,PILLOWY MEN, PLAY HARD

Take my opinions on soft men to heart, I’ve seen them in action. So have you.

Like most converts to a new belief system, soft men who play hard go an extra mile, or ten.

They’ve got something to prove to their soft man group. But there’s a special trick they use.

That trick is having someone else do the hard stuff. Take discipline for example.

No one turns into a soft man, they’re born that way. If softie was well appointed as a kid, they have things other kids don’t have and make friends based on longing, a wish in others that they could be that guy.

It’s a good gig. Who had a jerk in school with a new bike that trash talked everyone with a hand-me-down bike? Was it the same guy who never played a second of any sport but dressed in expensive sport shoes, jersey’s, and shorts?

If that was their moment in life to shine, who can complain?

Look, if you’re softer than you used to be, welcome to the group. Do you still have an edge of firmness? A spot that never goes soft when you hear soft men pretend they’re hard? And no, this isn’t a erectile dysfunction issue, it’s an attitude check.

What’s wrong with the sweetheart of a guy who enjoys trashing on professional athletes because, you know, when you get down to basics, they should all just shut up and dribble, or throw a ball, or catch a ball.

Is it that big a surprise that athletes have feelings, that they express those feelings? Athletes caught onto Larry Nasser at Michigan State. Google him. He’s the doctor serving time for being an abusive POS. Turns out a school dean and a coach earned jail time for looking the other way.

Athletes at Ohio State spoke up about their doctor, who had some problems understanding the limits of his medical practice.

Soft Man Keeps Things Quiet

I don’t blame the soft men who want problems to magically disappear. For them, the less said the better.

For pillowy guys, not Pillow Man, athletes who speak up on issues important to them, important to America, are sons of bitches who should be fired, not celebrated for sharing their pain.

For soft men, Black Lives Matter gets questioned for inclusiveness. What about me, they seem to say as they watch news about black lives extinguished in the course of enforcing street law as they see it.

And guns? Soft men love guns. Their guns to their talking. Pictures of guns, gun stores, guns store clerks, the love never stops. Do they join the Army or Marines to learn how to handle the gear? Or is that too hard?

Our America has been quiet on too many subjects that upset soft men. The outrage is real when the fellas learn new things about old subjects.

They get fired up, loud, and motorcade to Portland in pick-up trucks to show they’re fearless. Shooting people randomly with paintball guns and spraying chemicals proves their point.

What is that point? Right, that they’re not soft men. How’re you doin’?
