This roadside attraction is called Forrest Gump Hill. Why? Then it hit me. I pulled over after dodging people taking pictures in the middle of the road like this was a movie set not the fast road out of Monument Valley. I’d already been on the slow road.

MONUMENT ROAD? HOLD TIGHT

Monument Road, or the road around Monument Valley, isn’t the worst road I’ve been on. But it is the longest bad road. How bad? Was it the bad road, or the bad driver? I was driving; then I wasn’t.
