SOCIOPATH GENERATION GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION?

sociopath

Does an entire sociopath generation give a hoot about being called a sociopath generation?

Not when it comes from some GenX hack selling his new book.

I mean that in the nicest way, but sometimes it gets tiring hearing outsiders rag the home team, even if it fits the program of blame already in place.

Who else is tired of hearing about social wrongs attributed by the wrong people? For example:

Women’s health from a male doctor:

“My dear, you are hysterical. The pain you feel isn’t really pain. I’m sending you home with a benzo prescription. There’s nothing wrong with you.”

“Oh. Okay.”

Concussion advice from the football team doctor:

“How many fingers am I holding up? Close enough. Now rub some dirt on it and get back in there.”

Marriage advice from a multiple divorcee:

“He buys you nice things and takes you on expensive trips? Just because he has a stable of girlfriends is no reason to dump him.”

Tax advice from a scammer:

“They never question these deductions, so take them all.”

Margarita advice from a teetotaler:

“It doesn’t matter what tequila you use.”

Farming advice from a chemical salesman:

“This product is tested and safe. You could eat a spoonful and nothing would happen to you.”

Aging advice from a twenty year old?

Investing advice from a serial bankrupt?

A world view from a landlord where everyone is a tenant?

How could sociopath baby boomers ever straighten out and fly right after being exposed to Mr. Nixon and his people, Mr. Reagan and his people, Mr. Bush and his people, Mr. Trump and his people?

We’re getting older by the moment and grasp at anything to avoid the fact. Do we load up on trophies and juice boxes for ourselves? Yes, we do.

Do we give ourselves too much credit because of Steve Jobs was a boomer? Bill Gates?

No one else can claim them.
