CLEAN UP, ORGANIZE, REPEAT

Clean up on aisle me?
I got the best advice on how it’s done, how I can do it. You, too.
“Pick one shelf, take everything off, and put back less.”

CRYING TIME CAN BE ANY TIME

Crying time in my family is . . . complicated.
Not one gets called a cry baby, made fun of, or ignored.
But there’s a thought that some of us aren’t fans of a good cry.
And they’re wrong.

MOUNT HOOD VIEW FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The Mount Hood view is so good from the neighborhood that streets are named after it.
That’s what you get in a town near a mountain.

THE BRIGHT ANGEL SIDE OF LIFE

Bright Angel is the name of the trail that runs from rim to rim across the Grand Canyon. It’s a place to meet new friends and enjoy the outdoors. An interpretation of Bright Angel is Baby Boomer ass kicker. If you make it down a mile and a half to the first bathroom/water stop and […]

INVITATION FROM PORTLAND: WHAT’S MY NAME?

An old Russian saying explains it this way: The much loved are called by many names. With that in mind, Portland must be much loved by the number of names it has. Stump Town. Soccer City, USA. River City. Rip City. Rose City. Beervana. Bridge City. And they all fit. Just like weather that changes […]
