FAKE BLOG? SO WHAT

The idea of a fake blog is too funny.
Who would care, it’s a blog.
Besides, the idea of fake things has been around awhile, but you’ve still got to watch out.
Fake jewelry? No way.
The thing about faking anything is ‘why bother.’
If you’ve got something to share, something to show and tell, have at it.
Problems arise when whatever you’re got isn’t enough.
You thought it was enough, but learned it wasn’t. Then what?
Fake it until you make it?
Gear up for a case of imposter syndrome.
For me, every time I write I’m expecting an avalanche of readers and money.
It happens, at least we read about it happening with overnight sensations who have been working on their craft their entire life before bursting onto the scene.

I asked my wife her definition of The Roots of Knowledge.
She said she’d have to think about it while she watched the U.S. Women’s Open.
I heard her yell, “Get in the hole,” so I know she’s on it.
I googled it up while I waited.
“Wonder rather than doubt is the root of knowledge.
Doubt comes in the wake of knowledge as a state of vacillation between two contrary or contradictory views; … the business of doubt is one of auditing the mind’s accounts about reality … “

There’s a difference between wonder and doubt?

Wonder About The World One Fake Blog At A Time

See that darkest colors in the map?
Got to be a lot of fakery in population centers hyping God knows what.
The lighter colored areas all boast down home values, honesty, and the American Way, not like the hustlers and con men in the big city.
For the fakers it’s all the same: It’s only fake if you don’t believe it.
Which brings us back around to the concept of a fake blog.
What is it?
One type is the cut and paste blog, the no original content blog, and the writer passes it off without references.
It’s all good right up until it isn’t and the blogger passes it off as no big deal. Why wouldn’t they?
Another type is the one that posts every inflammatory thing they are offended by with accompanying outrage.
Ugh, they both make my head hurt.
BoomerPdx is neither of those.
As an original take from an original giver, nothing here is out of order.
This site is devoid of sexism, racism, genderism (my word), ageism, nationalism, and most every other -ism out there.
Instead I pump out encouragement, enthusiasm, and solid reasoning.
At least that’s the original intent with original content.
A fake blog, or fake anything, is an attempt to blow smoke up your, er, in your face.
This blog is a fan to blow it away for a bright, bright, sunshiny day.
