FULL MOON ROCK AN ROLL

It’s best to have a full moon and rock and roll playing during a lunar eclipse.
These ladies are showing the back catalogue.
Which one’s pink? I don’t know, but I see the dark side of the moon.
Music and celestial events go hand in hand, like Pink Floyd during a Pink Moon.
Shakespeare had plenty of weather in his work, which seems common with English artists.
Pink Floyd is English, so they fit the program.
Speaking of programs, wouldn’t it be fun to stage a show for the next big thing in the sky?
Call everyone in for a big stomping time of music, food, dancing, the works.
Add costumes and masks.
What should you call it?
Halloween. Do I have to spell everything out?
Put up a string of lights in place of comets, meteors, and such for celestial ambiance and let ‘er rip.

Ask An Old Hippie

Ask an old hippie if they ever dropped acid to start a big night of fun.
There’s an element of fight of flight with trippers on a trip.
Something may set them off and they need to shrink their world.
Or, they may embrace the universe from their back porch.
Just stay away from windows.
Growing up baby boomer, and I don’t know anyone who ever heard the term baby boomers growing up, we heard the shocking stories of LSD and weed.
One would send you to the moon and back, hopefully. The other turned you into a maniac with reefer madness.

Rumors quickly spread of Mexicans distributing this “demon weed,” or “locoweed,” to unsuspecting American schoolchildren, wrote author Eric Schlosser in his 1994 Atlantic article “Reefer Madness.”
In port cities along the Gulf Coast, the drug also became associated with West Indian immigrants, a connection broadly extended to African-Americans, jazz musicians, prostitutes and lower-class whites.
” ‘The Marijuana Menace,’ as sketched by anti-drug campaigners, was personified by inferior races and social deviants,” Schlosser added.
Harry J. Anslinger, the first commissioner of the newly created Federal Bureau of Narcotics, insisted that marijuana led to “insanity, criminality, and death.” By 1931, 29 states had outlawed it.
The debut of “Reefer Madness” in 1936, one in a series of anti-marijuana propaganda films released at the time,  helped fuel hysteria about the drug.
Originally titled “Tell Your Children,” the film centers on a series of hyperbolic events that ensue when innocent high school students are lured into trying marijuana — from a hit-and-run accident to manslaughter, suicide, attempted rape, hallucinations and a rapid descent into madness.

Ask an old hippie about the worst thing that happened from smoking weed.
They ate too much?
Wore wild clothes?
Listened to Pink Floyd?

Make The Call For Full Moon Rock And Roll

Here I am answering the call for more rock.
“Yes, more pink please.”
Click the link to hear ‘One Of These Days’ and hold onto your socks.
Maybe it’s growing older at the right time, or maybe it’s social media speaking out, but it gets easier to understand why the Greeks and Romans of old had so many gods and goddesses.
A man is told his daughter would have a child who would grow up and kill him, so he locks her in a tower where she still gets pregnant.
For them it was obvious that Zeus was the father after he transformed himself into rain and seeped into the tower.
It’s obvious, right?
Your crops failed because you angered a god.
Your town flooded because you angered a god.
Everything was accountable to a god.
An important man known to one and all says people must do what he says, or the gods will be angered.
That’s a pretty good gig, spokesman for all gods.
Even more impressive is cultivating an audience of idiots willing to do whatever is asked of them.
Imagine a well know jackass clothed in decency and respectability calling his crowd together like a modern god and instructing them to attack the very structures of the rule of law for his benefit.
How would a modern day American with access to all of the collected knowledge of the world on a phone or computer screen respond to such jackassery?
About the same as the most ignorant Greek or Roman being told their wife or daughter had been impregnated by a god, not the milkman, and believing it with every fiber of their being.

PS:

Did Pink Floyd create the recent lunar eclipse to sell more records?

PS:

Before you answer, do the responsible thing and look at Uranus.
Look familiar?
